Plastic trunking

Cable trunking is also made out of rigid high-impact PVC. In this case, the lid clips on, as
will be clear from the cross section in Figure 3.16. Bends and fittings similar to those for
steel trunking are made, and the plastic trunking is used in exactly the same way as steel
trunking. Since the trunking is non-conductive, an additional circuit protective
conductor(s) must be provided for earth protection to the circuit(s) served by the
trunking.
